Shari is the founder and principal of GOLD PR. She provides strategic counsel and overall account direction for all GOLD PR clients. She is experienced in sectors that include consumer products, automotive, technology, child and youth marketing, fashion & beauty and professional services industries. Shari is a media expert and highly skilled writer, with extensive experience in media relations, special events, marketing communications, brand development, national consumer campaigns and product launches. She brings over 17 years of corporate and agency public relations experience in both public and private sectors to GOLD PR. Her expertise, both domestic and international, includes serving as agency counsel to major corporations as well as leading in-house corporate communications teams.
Her public relations, rapid branding and marketing communications experience has helped elevate awareness for such top brands as Invisalign, Microsoft, Mazda, Ford, Suzuki, Nissan, Canon, Sharp, The Weather Channel, Starbucks and Burton Snowboards. Shari also has specific expertise in launching products targeted to the youth market having led such efforts for Invisalign Teen, Scion, Microsoft Xbox, Kid Fuel, EMU Australia and URB magazine.
Prior to founding GOLD PR, she worked with Microsoft Corporation to launch the company's Automotive Business Unit and its telematics initiatives. Having been deeply-rooted in the automotive industry for many years, Shari worked for two of the largest global car companies where she played an integral role in the overall management of corporate and product public relations.
Shari started her career in government relations working for the City of Huntington Beach where she collaborated closely with the city's Economic Development department, Chamber of Commerce, Conference and Visitor's Bureau, and government officials.
Stephanie Goddard has spent the last 17 years launching products and developing ongoing consumer programs for top brands, including T-Mobile, Nike, Nestle, Kia Motors, Mitsubishi Motors and Tylenol. Stephanie has specific expertise in automotive, corporate communications and issues management. Stephanie provides strategic counsel for effective programs that garner results and has handled talent relations, special events, media training, corporate sponsorships and other activities for her clients. She routinely pitches a wide range of media and provides strategic counsel in crisis situations.
Stephanie is an agency veteran having held several positions at Manning, Selvage & Lee over a ten year period before becoming vice president. More recently, she worked as Senior Vice President at Zeno Group, a mid-size marketing communications firm and sister company to Edelman Public Relations.
Kathleen Johnson is one of our media experts and brings more than 25 years public relations experience working for some of the largest agencies in Los Angeles. Her approach is a refreshing blend of seasoned professional and youthful enthusiasm. Throughout her career, Kathleen has been recognized for her out-of-the box (and sometimes off-the-wall) creativity, effective written communications, collaborative work style, and can-do attitude. Her extensive consumer public relations experience includes working for clients such as Hilton Hotels; California Avocado Commission; Bank of America; Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream; Hatley - Get Clothes to Nature; Guide Dogs of America.
With 20 years of public relations experience working for the some of the world's leading agencies and serving as senior counsel for many Fortune 100 clients, Kris is a highly skilled writer, presenter and team leader with expertise developing, managing and implementing public relations plans; securing high profile media coverage; leading integrated marketing programs; and leveraging pop culture to build brands.
Her background includes directing programs for General Motors, Philips Electronics, Nike, Mattel, Red Bull, Pete's Wicked Ale, Sega, eBay, New Balance, Yahoo!, Coors, X Prize and eVite among dozens of others. She is a SABRE winner and three-time CIPRA (Creativity in Public Relations Award) winner and has received several IPRA and PRism awards, including the 2000 Best in Show prize from the Public Relations Society of America's LA Chapter for Pac-Man's 20th Anniversary PR program on behalf of client Namco Hometek. She also spearheaded the successful launches of Dead to Rights and Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness.
Jami Beaton Eidsvold
Jami Beaton Eidsvold is our tiny dynamo that brings nearly ten years experience managing campaigns within the interactive and advertising industries. Put simply -- she is our social/digital media expert. Jami strives to implement strategic digital PR campaigns that seamlessly integrate with and support our clients' overall marketing strategies. She possesses a keen understanding of new media and a personal passion for developing impactful, integrated media campaigns.
Jami has worked with both consumer and B2B brands in a variety of industries including clients such as Qualcomm Enterprise Services, Real D, Design Reactor, Sony, TRD USA, Red Bull North America, The Hollywood Reporter, Nokia, Pioneer, Avery Dennison and Buy.com
Jami has produced work that has received many national and international accolades that have included the ADDY Awards, Webby Awards, The One Show, Belding Awards, HOW Magazine Interactive Awards and the Davey Awards, to name a few.
Sara Record brings over ten years experience to GOLD PR. She has become a driving force in managing many different types of events for GOLD PR clients. In addition, she is a key member of our Social/Digital Media team supporting all the exciting online and viral marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining GOLD PR, Sara's experience included working for a global commercial real estate corporation, a boutique institutional fund investment firm, a prestigious plastic surgery practice and a booming medical spa, which helped her develop a diverse background and thorough skill set.
A seasoned public relations professional, Sharon Scott has worked as media strategist and trusted adviser for more than 17 years. GOLD PR clients benefit from her agency background in national media outreach campaigns, ongoing consumer programs, product launches, and strategic partnerships. She has strong consumer lifestyle expertise, with direct experience working in consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, fashion and retail, health and wellness, sports and entertainment, community and nonprofits, and the automotive industry. Sharon's award-winning broadcast, online and print campaigns have garnered hundreds of millions of invaluable impressions.
Ashley Cline is a pioneer in the breakout field of social media and online marketing. Ashley is a graduate of Inbound Marketing University—a school that is dedicated solely to online marketing. Ashley also has a degree in Visual Communications Technology from Northwest State and is currently pursuing her Master's Certificate in Online Marketing with an Advanced Certificate in Social Media at the University of San Francisco.
But Ashley's client work has given her the real, hands-on experience in online marketing across many diverse industries. She specializes in creating and enhancing brands' online image with creative digital marketing applications, widget development, social media content writing, ongoing social media strategy basics, Facebook contests and sweepstakes development and more. Ashley also uses her knowledge of FDA and FTC marketing guidelines to ensure that her clients in the medical and financial field are represented accurately and within regulations.
Ashley has created an online marketing strategy with an emphasis in social media and SEO for North Coast Medical which included developing their internal Social Media Policy and implementing a plan that will effectively market their products through thousands of medical distributors by conducting mass training and preparing marketing manuals, design assets and software development.
She also worked at Networking4Biz and Enertia Solutions where she handled online marketing strategy and project management. Ashley is trained in search engine optimization, email marketing, pay-per-click, social media optimization and other online marketing tactics. She is also proficient in HTML, InDesign and Photoshop.
Bringing both big and boutique agency experience within the consumer and consumer technology fields, Jackie Jorge has been in the public relations industry since 1996. She possesses a solid background in media relations and has a proven track record of conducting PR/marketing campaigns to build nationally-recognized brands; corporate positioning; internal communications; social media and consumer product PR.
Jackie's work spans across a number of major industry sectors where she has helped companies effectively achieve their business objectives through communications.
From launching national brands like women's apparel, NIKEgoddess, to launching global companies into the U.S. like U.K.'s television media solutions leader OpenTV and Korea's automotive behemoth Daewoo Automotive and from leading projects within global strategic communications for power toothbrush Philips Sonicare to managing award-winning PR campaigns for internet service provider Earthlink, Jackie's commitment to delivering results has been her best attribute.
Prior to joining GOLD PR, Jackie has held senior communications positions at top international PR firms Manning, Selvage & Lee and Edelman Worldwide.
As Account Coordinator, Clare Block provides the team with project management support and handles all day-to-day client service administrative tasks. She is adept at developing and maintaining processes that improve efficiencies across the agency and within our clients' organizations. Prior to coming to Gold PR, Clare worked in a variety of roles for PR agencies that specialize in biotechnology and in the high tech industry. Clare graduated with a Communication and PR degree from Santa Clara University.
Kym Cleveland brings several years experience to her position as Account Coordinator with GOLD PR. She provides the team with project management support and handles all day-to-day client service administrative tasks. She is adept at developing and maintaining processes that improve efficiencies across the agency and with clients. Kym also manages many in-house graphic design projects and supports senior staff in event production.
Jeannie Clary brings to Gold PR nearly 10 years of dedicated public relations experience strategic counsel and great client results. She has secured placements in top media outlets and comfortably pitches anything from consumer lifestyle products to complex business services.
Working with boutique and global agencies, Jeannie has conducted media relations for publicly traded and private companies across industries, including technology, lifestyle, insurance, healthcare, finance, airlines and energy. As the PR specialist for a Fortune 1000 company, Jeannie learned the challenges in-house communications teams face and brings that sensibility to client relationships. Jeannie also has extensive trade media experience, turning clients’ expertise into compelling bylined articles that demonstrate their thought leadership.
Jeannie graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations.
